Are You Stuck in Superman/woman Syndrome? 🦸♂️🦸♀️
It might feel heroic, but being the one who does it all comes with a heavy burden—the belief that no one will be there to support you!

🚀 Ultra Independence Pattern
For years, I was unconsciously trapped in what I now call my "Ultra Independence" pattern. I was all about doing, achieving, and giving, but never allowing myself to receive. I feared relying on anyone, striving for complete independence and freedom in every aspect of my life.
I always made sure I gave more than I received, to avoid the uncomfortable feeling that I owed someone something, as I feared being trapped.

😔 The Dark Side of Success
When I discovered personal development, I thought I had found the key to everything I desired. I was eager to grow, achieve, and be better in every way possible. This mindset is often celebrated, but it comes with a dark side—it implies you’re not already good enough the way you are.
The “achiever” mentality might get results, but it can be exhausting, empty, and lonely. My sense of self-worth became tied to external outcomes, I tried to control every aspect of my life, leading to stress and anxiety.
I was great at giving but struggled with receiving or asking for what I wanted or needed. This left me feeling quietly unsupported and emotionally drained.

💫 A Courageous Decision
After 20 years in the corporate world, I made the Courageous Decision to change careers and move to a different country. I knew it was time to approach life in a new way.
I let go of control and committed to following my intuition, even when it didn’t make logical sense. I embraced my truth, no matter where it led me.

🐾 Learning to Receive
I met Ivette, my first Mexican neighbour, and her lovely dog Mika. We became close friends, sharing and supporting each other in our daily lives.
I fell in love with Mika. Every day, she would find a way to leave her apartment, run up two flights of stairs, and scratch at my door—her polite way of knocking 🥰
Mika became my daily companion, offering unconditional love and teaching me the true value of allowing myself to open up to receive.

❓ Quality Question
“Which is more important,” asked Big Panda, “the journey or the destination?”.
“The company,” replied Tiny Dragon.
