Wow What a Story! 🤩

During a visit to my parents, I suggested a walk along Hove seafront. The sun was shining and my Dad decided to join me. After a lovely stroll, we stopped at a packed restaurant by the sea. The only available seats were across from a woman dining alone.

With his natural charm, my Dad asked if we could join her. She graciously agreed—and that’s how we met Michelle.

She had spent years working tirelessly as a costume designer for films and TV shows—a career she loved, but one that came with long hours, tight deadlines, endless travel, and demanding producers. Then, in 2020, the world changed. Productions came to a halt, and her career disappeared overnight.

Unsure of what to do next, Michelle decided, just for fun, to post a wardrobe challenge on social media. She didn’t think much of it—but to her shock, over 1,000 people signed up!

Nervous but excited, Michelle created a challenge to help people rethink their wardrobes and express themselves creatively. The response was incredible, and the positive feedback fueled her next steps.

Encouraged by her success, Michelle built a website and began offering online wardrobe consultations. She loved working directly with clients and helping them feel more confident in their style. But she didn’t stop there.

Exploring ways to expand her reach, she discovered YouTube. Though the platform felt daunting, Michelle dove in, learning how to create videos and connect with her audience. Slowly, her channel grew into a thriving community, attracting clients and opportunities she never imagined.

Today, Michelle runs a successful, remote business doing what she loves. She’s her own boss, helping others find confidence and creativity, and living life on her own terms.
